COVID-19 SITUATION UPDATE
Staying Covid-19 Secure
The health and well-being of our guests and our staff is of course our top priority but please remember that this situation is new for all of us. If you think that something we are doing is not quite right please do not hesitate to discuss it with us as we need all the help we can get. We really hope that this is the final lockdown and that the Roadmap to normality continues without any further setbacks.
If, while you are staying with us, you develop symptoms of Covid-19 such as a cough, high temperature, loss of sense of taste or smell please do make us aware so that we can be involved in dealing with that situation.
Cleaning
We have maintained our high standard of cleaning between reservations and added to that, all surfaces, door handles, light switches, sockets, TV Remotes etc are now wet-wiped using a bleach solution. We are not planning to clean or daily refresh your room during your stay. If you have any requirements such as more Tea/Coffee, Toilet Roll etc, please leave a completed form in the porch outside of your room and we will complete your request during each morning. We are sorry if your room looks sparsely decorated but under current Government guidelines we have removed all of the unnecessary items such as cushions, throws and ornaments. There will be a blanket in a wardrobe or a drawer in the room (not bagged) for you to use if required. Please do not put it away after use as we need to replace it before another guest checks in.
Breakfast for B&B Guests
Subject to no further changes to the Roadmap out of Lockdown.
For stays on the nights of the 12th April through to 16th May we are not permitted to serve breakfast.

For stays on the nights of the 17th May through to the 20th June we are offering breakfast in the farmhouse but we have restrictions governing the number of people in the breakfast room at any one time. As you check-in we will discuss and agree with you a mutually convenient time for breakfast. All of the breakfast will be table service and will include cereals juices yoghurts fruits etc and also hot drinks and hot food.
You will be invited to use our hand sanitiser when entering and leaving the house and we ask you to wear a mask at all times in the house apart from when you are seated at your breakfast table. Please make sure we know what time you would like your breakfast and of course let us know if there are any dietary requirements that we need to be aware of.
From 21st June onwards, no more restrictions so we will discuss a mutually convenient breakfast time with you but we are no longer limited to a specific number of people in the breakfast room. Breakfast will be back to being a cold buffet of cereals juices yoghurts fruits etc with table service for hot drinks and hot food. Please do let us know if there are any dietary requirements that we need to be aware of.
Payments from B&B Guests
If you have not already paid your online travel agent (Booking.com, Expedia etc) for your stay we do of course need to receive a payment from you before departure. We cannot currently accept contactless payments as the value is too high but our machine does accept Apple Pay, we can also accept the following payment methods:
Cash
Credit/Debit Card – our card machine is anti-bacterially wiped between each transaction.
Bank transfer – Please pay to Hawthorn Farm, sort code 30-12-59, account number 18512260 and advise us that you have done so.
